Sometimes, You Just Need A Hug

Sometimes an image says so much more. A split second moment. This particular image hits home for me on why these dogs are so important to their people.


We had a fun day running around at the Arboretum. We were probably there a little longer then expected, and my daughter was starting to get hungry, a little tired, and cranky. Sometimes, all you need is a hug, which these dogs are SO willing to provide.

Again, they are so much more then blood glucose monitors.. Emotional support is a HUGE part of their function
